Welcome to
- War's End -
Upland Preserve

We opened War’s End Upland Preserve in the fall of 2025, with the goal of providing a hospitable setting and excellent guided and self guided hunts. Some of our fondest memories with family come from standing in a field with a gundog on point and swapping tales after a hunt. We strive to offer a safe hunting experience where individuals and groups make lasting memories.
Located in Central Virginia, we live on the preserve with our three children and our beef cattle. We look forward to having you visit our beautiful property in historic Appomattox, VA.
Carefully managed cover with native warm-season grasses, thinned pine stands, heavy thickets, and fence rows for excellent bird action.
Enjoy hunting without pressure—our focus is on great experiences, a safe and relaxed atmosphere, and good company.
Just 15 minutes east of Lynchburg,
right off Route 460, we are centered right in the heart of Virginia.
